The UfM Med Youth Lab 2024 is a five-day event on equipping young people with project development and soft skills, which will take place in Fes, Morocco, from November 25 to 29, 2024. It consists of four days of teamwork in a project proposal containing thematic clusters, followed by a final pitch event. Three thematic clusters to be explored by participants: Green Skills, Youth Mobility for Educational and Professional Exchange, and Youth Engagement in Multistakeholder Dialogue
UfM Med Youth Lab 2024 is organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), with the support of the German Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes (UEMF) and in partnership with the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed).

This opportunity is open for 45 successful applicants from eligible countries, where full coverage of travel, accommodation, visa, and meals will be provided.
Eligibility
The following are the required qualifications for participating in UfM Med Youth Lab 2024:
Being between 18-29 years by the date of application
Being nationals of the UfM Member States.
A valid passport should be available, at least until 30 May 2025. If you must renew it, apply first, and in case of selection, the organizers will provide support.
An upper-intermediate level of English is required (B2);
Previous knowledge or experience in at least one of the UfM Med Youth Lab thematic clusters:
Eligible countries of origin include Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Palestine, Tunisia, and Türkiye.
Application Procedure
Each applicant shall submit personal and professional information through the online application form. The attachments shall be added as follows;
- Copy of a travel document
- A motivation video in English of maximum 3 minutes
Optional attachments include a CEFR English certificate (or equivalent) at a minimum level of B2 and an answer in the application form on which thematic cluster the applicant would like to join.
